This is an important note to all those interested in hosting a Trailblazers Youth Racing event in 2014. All those interested in hosting an event, or multiple events, in 2014 must submit a Calendar Request Form no later than 5:00pm, Friday February 28th, 2014. Upon submission of the Calendar Request Form, organizers will be offered a preliminary spot on the 2014 event calendar, to be finalized and posted no later than Friday March 7th, 2014. All completed forms should be submitted to Josh Peacock, Lead Sport Coordinator, at josh@albertabicycle.ab.ca.

Important information for new organizers
If you are new to hosting a Trailblazers Youth Racing event in 2014, welcome to the family! Hosting a Trailblazers Youth Racing event can be a fun and rewarding experience, and the ABA is committed to supporting our organizers in every way possible. As a Trailblazers organizer, the ABA is proud to offer you the following resources free of charge:
- Commercial Event Insurance coverage for your event
- Free Province-wide print & web advertizing of the event
- Waived Calendar Fee & Rider Levy
- Event race plates
- Use of the ABA Race Trailer (subject to availability)
- Access to Trailblazers Youth Racing branding
- Full-time ABA staff support

The ABA strongly suggests that prior to submitting a completed Calendar Request Form, all organizers make themselves familiar with the Trailblazers Youth Racing Organizers’ Guide. The Organizers’ Guide is an extremely useful tool that will assist you with planning your event in the coming months.
