Three Juventus riders have been selected to represent Canada at the UCI Junior Track World Championships in Astana, Kazakhstan in August: Evan Burtnik, Anna Talman, and Stefan Ritter. This is a self-funded project, with the total cost for the 3 athletes in excess of $20,000.
Juventus is organizing a fundraising event Sat June 20 including silent auction, BBQ, beer gardens, and a few other surprises. The facebook event is up; online donations will be accepted until August. Whether you are coming to the Lino Bovo or in Edmonton, stop in to enjoy a cold one, take in some exciting racing, and bid on some auction items.
We are hoping to raise $6,000 to support these riders compete against the best in the world.
