Community Cycling Initiative CCI Coaching Course

Community Cycling Initiative (CCI) coaching course: The CCI program is designed to teach youth and adults with relatively no cycling experience how to enjoy safe cycling. The course teaches basic cycling skills and can be used at a school or community association level. The two day coaching course will give you the coaching tools you will need to start teaching basic cycling skills including specific training session plans. If you have been thinking of getting involved with cycling coaching; this may be what can get you started

The first course for Alberta will take place in Calgary: March 20,21, with the at the Olympic Oval in Calgary.  The course conductors will be Janet Liu, and Rick Thiessen. You can register for this course on Karelo. We apologize for the short notice. If you cannot attend this course another course will be offered in Edmonton later this spring. If you cannot attend, and are interested in taking the course, or have any questions please contact provincial coach Rick Thiessen, as we will offer more courses if there is a demand.
