The Alberta Bicycle Association is excited to announce the 2014 roster of the BMX Provincial Team.

The ABA is very excited for this upcoming season, and is committed to BMX excellence both on and off the track. The Team's Objective remains to prepare riders to win the National Championships, be competitive at International competitions, and to guide placement onto the Canadian National Team.

Coach Garth Hebert adds:
"This upcoming season is exciting for myself for many reasons. Firstly we have some new members on board to help with management and fundraising camps which will be a huge help to the team. Welcome aboard Kristen Kawa (Team Manager), Andrew McElheran (Assistant Manager), And Wendy Vandenhoven (Camp Coach). Returning is Garth Hebert (Team Coach) and Nicoline Hebert (Team Trainer). With all the listed help above this will be a huge resource to our team this upcoming season.

Secondly after finishing a great season ending with Tulsa as our final project, the whole team walked away from the year with some great results. We had 20 riders making it to their quarter finals which was amazing. Three Ladies making it to main events and some male riders going as far as Semi's.

This all could not have happened if it was not for the great contributions of Dale Tuchscherer, Kristen Kawa, and all our great sponsors for 2013.

Our new team of managers and coaches all bring some great ideas and plans for the 2014 season that we can't wait to put into action. Looking forward to working hard at making even faster riders in 2014."

The ABA would like to congratulate all of the athletes chosen to represent our Province on this year's team, and thank all of those who applied. We look forward to another exciting year of racing.
