2010 BMX DEVELOPMENT TEAM SELECTION CRITERIA
| June 16, 2009 The Alberta BMX Youth Development Team to consist of two riders of each male and female in all age groups from age 10-14 inclusive. 2 riders will be coaching selections for a total of 24 riders. Team Objective: To prepare riders for national and international competition, identify future talent, and improve rider’s bike skills, and to prepare riders for the Performance Team. Value to Athletes: Each rider will receive a Team Alberta, entry into a series of camps and will be supported for entry at the Red Deer UCI and National Championships (Airdrie) in the 20” Classes. Selection Criteria: Riders with the highest number of total points in each age group will be invited to join the team. Athletes will receive a combined points score from each of the following events:
