Free Physiological Testing with Interpretation and
Feedback
Competitive, male cyclists are needed for a World Anti-Doping Agency funded research study being conducted by the Canadian Sport Centre Pacific’s high performance laboratories in Vancouver and Victoria. The purpose of the study is to determine the effects of short-term use (3 weeks) of inhaled salbutamol on anaerobic and aerobic exercise performance with non-asthmatics. Feedback is provided on VO2max and peak power, 20KmTT performance, body composition, and anaerobic measures. The VO2max tests are interpreted to provide threshold-based heart rate training zones and information is provided on how to target the individual zones to help optimize your training. This is a great opportunity for those heading to the west coast for a little spring training.
