ABA TO HOST PROVINCIAL ADVOCACY MEETING 

March 24 , 2009

The Alberta Bicycle Association will be hosting a Provincial Cycling Advocacy Meeting at the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame in Red Deer May 2, 2009.

Event information:

Introduction by Kipp Kaufmann, Executive Director of the Alberta Bicycle Association and facilitated by the Government of Alberta 
Department of Culture and Community Spirit facilitators.
Purpose:

1. Increase communication between provincial advocates and create a network of effective social connections.
2. Start relationships between and amongst groups throughout the province of Alberta (i.e. begin to work collaboratively) and share scarce resources on issues.
3. Define common issues.
4. Develop a framework for moving forward on issues that affect commuters and recreational cyclists provincially.

Anyone involved in cycling from anywhere in Alberta
Location:
Alberta Sports Hall of Fame, Hwy 2, Red Deer
Time:
10:00 – 4 pm (Lunch to be provided)
