This is an important notice to all organizers interested in hosting a 2016 cycling event in Alberta.

Any individual member, or affiliated club, interested in organizing one or more events during 2016 must submit an Expression of Interest form for each event. Preferential calendar placement will be given to those organizers who submit an Expression of Interest form on or prior to Monday January 11, 2016. A preliminary calendar will be set and posted reflecting the first round of such forms following the Race Organizers’ Conference. All other organizers wishing to gain a place on the 2065 calendar will be given the choice of any open weekends after the preliminary calendar is set.

Following the January 11 deadline, the ABA will host a Race Organizers’ Conference & Calendar Planning Meeting tentatively planned for Saturday January 24, 2016 in Red Deer. All organizers will be sent an RSVP request for this meeting. A preliminary calendar will be established at the meeting, which will be circulated to organizers and posted on the ABA website no later than January 31, 2015.

For all those organizers interested in hosting a Club Sanctioned event in 2016, please fill out the "Club Sanction EOI Form". Information on what distinguishes a Club Event from a Provincial Sanction can be found on the form itself.
