Note from Bow 80 organizer - Bob Grunewald:

Well everyone, I have some bad news and some good news.
The Bad - Well, I am canceling the 2013 version of the Bow80. There are a number of reasons for this.

1. Without River Cover to camp and park cars at, we cannot have the same number of people at the Bow80.
2. The bridge has not been opened to the public and we do not want to add to the ongoing work because of a bicycle race.
3. The trails from the reports we have received are not in good shape.
4. We are not going to use West Bragg because there would not be ample parking and with it being possibly the only enter point to the area, very selfish of us to take it over.

And now the good news!
We are planning a trail day on September 15th. We have contacted the groups involved with the majority of the trails and started a dialogue. We hope that if you have raced the Bow80 in the past that you will come out and dig with us. We will supply the same reward (spolumbos and pop and fruit) as if you had raced!
