Procedure for disputes involving race results, race decisions, commissaire behaviour
1.6.4 Notwithstanding UCI 1.2.111, which allows for material changes to results to be made within 30 days of a race, disputes related to finish order, results, and decisions of the Commissaires’ panel may only be considered at a race, and in accordance with ABA 1.6.3.
Enquiries about race occurrences, away from the race venue and outside of the prescribed protest time period, must be directed to the appropriate ABA Sport Coordinator.
Disputes or allegations involving inappropriate behaviour by a commissaire must be addressed either to the event Technical Delegate or appropriate ABA Sport Coordinator.
Forbidden contact with commissaires
1.6.5 Except as provided for by ABA 1.6.3 and 1.6.4, under no circumstances may a rider, or representative thereof, contact a commissaire regarding a race incident. Forbidden contact would include all means of communication including, but not limited to, e-mail, telephone, social media, and in-person communication. Incidents of forbidden contact may be punishable by either fine or suspension, as provided for by ABA and UCI Regulations.
